The exhibition is curated by the most prestigious specialists in Spanish silverware and shines the light on the professional career of Damian Garrido - a master craftsman and architect of the Damian Garrido Silver Atelier. The exhibition starts with Damian Garrido’s biography, delving into his education and influences that determined his extensive artistic career. Illustrating the artisan’s life through the development of his signature aesthetics and concluding with Damian’s collaboration with his children Juan & Paloma Garrido, to whom he passed on the torch of knowledge. The last part of the exhibition will explore the joined work produced by the father and children, and the way the second generation contributed to developing new artistic directions and style of the silver atelier. The exhibition offers the visitors to admire new contemporary pieces created in the last few years of Damian’s artistic career.
