THE BESPOKE JOURNEY
With the commissioning experience being different every time, the GARRIDO teamalways offers a collaborative approach, guiding our clients from the initial conceptdevelopment to the delivery and installation processes. True to our stylistic identity andtradition of craftsmanship, our artists and craftsmen apply all their skill and passion formeeting our clients’ most singular, personal, and exacting requests, from designing tofashioning and finishing each unique object, producing the ultimate luxury bespokecreations.
CONCEPT DISCOVERY
We start our Bespoke Journey by listening to our client’s ideas and understanding theirvision of a GARRIDO bespoke piece. GARRIDO's bespoke team guides collectorsthroughout the concept discussion, the making process, and delivery. Drawing on ourknowledge of what is possible, our artists push the boundaries of the design concept,bringing the collector’s ideas to life on paper and working collaboratively to refine form,finish, and size. Then, the initial conversations between the artists and the collector turninto a project brief presented to the client through a series of sketches and conceptualthree-dimensional models.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once the concept has been finalized, the GARRIDO team embarks on the DesignDevelopment process. Our artists consider all aspects of the initial brief work onmaterial discovery; with each project being unique in its requirements, the client ispresented with a selection of rare and precious materials suggested for the project. Carefully considering the artwork’s objective, our artists offer samplesof potentialtextures & finishes, customizing the design. Applying the exact specifications ofindividual briefs, taking into consideration ergonomics such as height and sizerequirements, the design team produces technical drawings. The final stage of thisphase will outline the design specifications, presenting the client with a polished designand final costs. Detailed digital models & visualizations will be presented, along withmaterials, finishes, and individual finishing touches.
MAKING PROCESS
GARRIDO bespoke pieces fuse cutting-edge contemporary artistic vision with the finestquality craftsmanship and traditional methods of silver-working. During this stage,having agreed on all details with the client, GARRIDO craftsmen endeavor into theprocesses of prototype creation and model testing, refining and ensuring the artwork’sprecision and rigor before proceeding to craft the design in metal. The production teamsupervises the meticulous craftsmanship involved in the making process. Focusingattention on detail, artisans stand up to the engineering challenges of complex designsdue to the immense size or complexity of the structure. In the final stage of the Making Process, the master craftsmen meticulously apply selected treatments and textures,adding decorative features by etching, chasing, buffing, or polishing the artwork.
COMPLETION
While coordinating the timely delivery of your new piece once completed, the artworkundergoes the workshop's rigorous quality control. All GARRIDO artworks arenamedand dated with a set of hallmarks to ensure their authenticity. At GARRIDO, we prideourselves on delivering and presenting the artworks with the same attention to detailthat characterized its making, offering custom crating and white glove deliveryservices.The bespoke delivery package will also include a certificate of authenticity and a caremanual to assist you in looking after our bespoke GARRIDO piece.
