Established over 80 years ago, GARRIDO is proud to be recognized as one of theleading names in silversmithing. Founded by Damian Garrido in Madrid in 1954,GARRIDO has earned its reputation for the masterful craftsmanship of precious metalsand its eminent sense of modern simplicity and elegance. Building upon its tradition offine decorating silver-work, GARRIDO offers pieces fashioned in cutting-edgecontemporary design developed by our critically acclaimed artists. Dedicated tocultivating the art of silversmithing through creating Functional Art and CollectibleDesign, GARRIDO projects its vision onto the international art market, taking part innumerous exhibitions and collaborating with some of the most prominent galleries andmuseums.


THE WORKSHOP

The GARRIDO workshop in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, was opened in 1994 to offerartisans the opportunity to train and to practice the age-old art of silversmithing.Broughttogether under one roof, a team of Spain's most skilled craftsmen, proficient in variousdisciplines, uphold GARRIDO's heritage by crafting the classics of tomorrow. Theworkshop lives by principles that include meticulous attention to detail, skillfulcraftsmanship, and a deep respect for complex and delicate materials, all of whichdemandconfidence and mastery.The workshop's artisans, masters in varioustraditional silversmithing techniques,work together under the supervision ofGARRIDO’s artistic duo to create extremely luxurious collectibles.

THE GALLERY

From Functional Art and Collectible Design, today, GARRIDO produces and exhibitsfine and decorative art by established international artists and designers.Located only afew kilometers from the workshop, the gallery is a double-height luxurious interiorenhanced by the modern aesthetic and with an intimate atmosphere of a cabinet ofcuriosities.The space is elegantly embellished with the latest GARRIDO creationsalongside a selection of paintings. It works on paper by renowned artists Damien Hirst,Richard Serra, Joan Miró, NicoMunuera, José Pedro Kroft, Gordillo, Eduardo Chillida,and Robert Motherwell.
